It’s been heart-warming to see our staff and members venture back to BodyWise!  As exciting as a rip-roaring, high capacity re-opening would have been, the average of 5 to 10 members in at a time felt just right.

We and our staff agree that 20 on the gym floor is manageable. If our attendance nears that number, we will implement a gym floor sign-up process to ensure your arrival will lead to a workout! It will be similar to signing up for classes. Gym floor hourly slots will be on our ‘Class Schedule’. In preparation, please take a moment and go to our website, www.BodyWiseSLC.com, and create a password if you have not (*do not create a new account). Your email is your user name.

We are still in the ‘Moderate Risk/Orange’ phase and must adhere to the following guidelines while at BodyWise:

• Masks required unless engaging in strenuous exercise.
• Maintain 10’ social distance while exercising.
• Clean all equipment before and after use.
• Limit workouts to 1 hour.
• Wash your hands and/or sanitize before, during and after your workout.
• Don’t touch your face.
• Cough in elbow or tissue and throw tissue away.

We understand the inconvenience these guidelines pose, but let’s remember they are in place to respect each other and help keep Corona Virus numbers down. For gyms, guidelines for the ‘Low Risk/Yellow’ phase are essentially the same.

We are looking to start low capacity classes at BW June 1^st!  Classes that have been offered via live stream/Zoom will continue and they will be the classes offered live at BodyWise.  Our class sign-ups will be set to 20. The first 1-10 signed in will be in Studio 1 with the instructor and 11-20 in Studio 2 with a live stream set up. We know many are not ready to be in groups so please continue to join our Zoom classes (same ID and password) and our video library, https://video.mindbody.io/studios/15550/videos.

We are asking those of you who checked out equipment from the weight room to please return it as soon as possible. If you have equipment from Studios, please return within the next week.

If you would like your membership freeze re-activated, email your request to BodyWiseSLC@outlook.com or let the front desk know when you come back for your first visit.

*Please note that suspensions are a 3 month max term. Re-activation is automatic at that point. If you set up your freeze and prefer a longer duration, you must email your request.
